after spending time solving some (but not all, yet) of her technical & computer difficulties, and teaching workshops at palladio art & antiques talking pretty painted finishes with lots of lovely listeners, it was time for mrs. jones to get back to the brushes at a client’s beautiful home. in the works: a refreshed bathroom vanity, a glazed plaster treatment on the range hood in the kitchen, a stenciled ceiling in the dining room, and pairs of gilded sconces and painted chairs. please stay tuned for lots of “afters”, coming soon!

Just looked over some of the latest entries and spied Stickley chairs. Now I was going to have MINE redone in cherry but with the fabulous color on your client’s chairs after you made them so current, I have decided to try my hand at reclaiming them. Of course, I will have to call you every five minutes once I start the project to have your input but I promise to keep the Stickley labels and all else on the bottom of the chairs. OR, I could just ship them from AZ to Memphis for your re-do.
My, my, they could end up in your attic some day.
