today mrs. jones had the humbling privilege of speaking at an advent service at idlewild presbyterian church.  dr. steve montgomery asked me to speak for a few minutes on peace.  my inspiration was a poem i love by wendell berry called the peace of wild things, and my family’s affection for mr. jones’s beloved farm.
