the mortar on this pretty stone house had some repair work that had been dutifully (but un-beautifully) done, so the lovely homeowner called for help.  after covering up the white caulk with “stone f/x” (a tintable acrylic product perfect for emergencies such as this) and adding a little “dirty” glaze, curb appeal has been restored.  now, all you notice is the precious blue front door.
