while mrs. jones is very  grateful for her BS in business (miami university ’84),  she does from time to time experience a little art school envy. though fresh manila folders and a properly balanced ledger have their appeal, there is nothing that thrills like a new glaze, tint, stencil or brush to experiment with.  so imagine my glee when this intriguingly shaped package arrived:

it contained a recycled pringles can (happy earth day, by the way!) resourcefully protecting these fun metallic powdered pigments…a terrific gift from my creative and generous friend dru…i can’t wait to try them!   also recently acquired: a bone folder of my own (alas, the one from book class had to be returned), and this very cool sword liner, the perfect brush for making nice lines on furniture and cabinets.
