it’s the best week of the year: seven heavenly days on kiawah island.  we spend every possible minute on the beach, boogie-boarding, kite-flying, seining, shelling, digging the deepest hole on the beach.  but for mrs. jones, it’s not all  bike rides and bocce ball…always on the lookout for beautiful colors and finishes, i took a competitive-intelligence-gathering tour of kiawah’s new ocean course [...]

elle decor, please tell me more!

green chair green chair

please accept my apologies for not having a “before” photo of this little project.  the chair is a favorite handed down to my lovely client by her grandmother.  painted, lined and aged just a little to match their knockout wallpaper, it’s the perfect perch for putting on shoes in their master bath/dressing room.  here are some details:
