there is truly not a single day when i am not grateful for the glorious good health of the little joneses (no matter how they might try my patience).  we were especially lucky to be able to bring the twins, who went the gestational distance and weighed in at over 7 pounds each, right home from the hospital.  so when my hardworking and wonderful pal martha flowers called to ask if this buffet (donated by another supporter) could get a little makeover for an auction benefitting the baptist hospital neo-natal icu, it was of course a “yes”.  here is the before and after:

it was sweden-ed up with benjamin moore’s healing aloe (#1562), white dove (oc.17) on the edges, and gold leaf on the hardware.  bid early & often!
