the precious punkins getting settled in to their new room (please see chandelier, below) will have this plate rack on which to display their treasures. my lovely client wanted to give it a little color, and so we aimed for the pale apple green (an amped-up version of benjamin moore’s neon celery, #2031.60) in a fabric in the room. she’s not afraid of a little aging glaze, and you know mrs. jones just loves that about her. there is, however, a fine line to walk: my clients should be provided with a respectable amount of dirty-ness upon request, without risk to their housekeeping reputations.

the little polka-dot lamp was a scratch-&-dent bargain that my clever client found…freshened up, it’s ready for their playroom.
