every so often, a lovely client sends something back, requesting additional dirt – never a problem.  so, on this brilliant online-auction steal: layers of shades of white, distressed and crackled, and then more layers: glazes tinted with raw umber, black, and gray.  here is the before & after, but please do your best to ignore the red fabric…it will soon be covered in a gorgeous, slubby natural linen.  (she’s promised a post-upholstery photo op.)
