in an exciting detour from regularly scheduled life, sally walker davies has tapped mrs. jones to snap the photos for her two upcoming memphis/elvis projects (all the details coming soon).  it was a blast (and great privilege) to spend yesterday with the super-charming, professional and accommodating alicia dean, media assistant for elvis presley enterprises at graceland, who v.i.p.’d me through the mansion, grounds, shops, cars and planes, and even granted access to pat the horses’ noses.  here is a sampling:

fact: fans from all over the world still send flowers and gifts, addressed to elvis.

observation: the jungle room really is as wild as they say.
