whew! LOLOL, I was ready to throw all my brushes away! Saved by the tape which I ALWAYS use even for “freehand” lines.

oh cat you are giving me way too much credit!…there was tape involved for sure! had it been up to me, the lining would have been freehand and much more loose…but that was not the assignment…and the designer was absolutely right, the crisp lines are perfect for her scheme. can’t wait to show it to you when it’s done! and thanks for thinking i could have pulled it off! xox

As a former stencil junkie( did an 11 layer dining room once)this really appeals to me and my “need to pounce and paint” -
husband and children used to say they would wake up and have a stencil on their forehead since my work was usually done in the wee hours of the morning – this is inspiring me to shake, rattle and roll with a brush….

Raspberry and cream! Such a pretty and unique combination for this table. I admire your patience in painting those thin lines of raspberry around the edges.
