this little guest room under the eaves, with the ceiling being only 7.5 feet tall in the center, needed a lift — literally. after covering the walls, ceiling and trim with a base coat of benjamin moore’s #1562, (“healing aloe”…don’t you feel better already?) the ceiling — including the sloping sides — was stenciled with this moorish trellis pattern in chalky white. the pattern echoes a motif in the fabrics being used in the room.
